The Old Drum - Petersfield

The family room was very large and the kitchen well equipped (even with a small dishwasher and washing machine including dryer). Maybe there will be some retrofitting with the dishes. The location is good, the place Petersfield quite charming, away from the tourist routes. The staff is very courteous and helpful and the breakfast is very tasty.

Trendy boutique hotel in a nice area of Petersfield. Delicious and sensational breakfast included, amicable personnel. Set in an unbeatable location close to a railway station. For tea or coffee visit Poppins nearby.

I do not find any surcharges at breakfast (English breakfast), especially since bed and breakfast was booked!

Charming, Cozy, Quaint

I was welcomed with a complimentary whisky! The room, a Beautiful Double with Shower, was beautifully decorated and cozy, equipped with luxurious Bramley toiletries and a powerful shower. The garden area for dining was enchanting, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors in a relaxing atmosphere.

Very courteous staff, I felt very comfortable there. For breakfast, I was served a special cheese selection, as I do not eat an English breakfast. The room is small but comfortable. The location is an ideal starting point.

Navigating the back door access after 10 pm was like a daunting task-no light meant fumbling around to enter the passcode, which isn't ideal after a long day. Stair access can be a workout, especially with heavy bags, but it's to be expected in older buildings like this one. Breakfast had a hiccup with service delays, which could throw off plans for those in a hurry. The cost was a touch higher than anticipated, but considering the cozy ambiance, it was acceptable.

The Beautiful Double Room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and cozy, with a lovely bathroom that felt modern. Really quiet atmosphere, nice for resting. The only downside was the lack of size. It felt a bit cramped for two people to move around comfortably. The comfort level of the bed was pretty good though!

This quirky spot had a charming vibe with a cozy outdoor garden, unique home-made biscuits, and a good whiskey decanter for a nightcap.

It was just a balanced option for a momentary pause in Petersfield with reasonable price. The bed I slept in was surprisingly comfortable, helping me rest well before continuing my journey. Bring a flashlight to help with the access code after dark.

Had an awesome stay with a cozy room and a lovely garden area to relax in. I grabbed a drink on the terrace after a long day, which was a perfect end to my evening. The only downside was the tricky back door access after hours, but it didn't ruin my experience. 😊

Couldn't recommend more for a holiday

Charming pub, friendly staff, the comfortable beds in our room provided a restful night's sleep, while the good welcome drink and excellent breakfast contributed to a wonderful stay overall.
